Growth Dynamics Get Down

Fast Tip Friday: Why Your Report Matters

Written by Sarah Waple | Nov 21, 2025 11:00:00 AM

Hey everybody! Sarah Waple here, President at Growth Dynamics, and I’m back with another Fast Tip Friday.

Lately, I’ve been doing a ton of DISC reviews—and I’ll admit, I’ve made some changes to how we go about them. Right now, a lot of people are coming to me without having read their reports beforehand. That makes it a little more challenging to share all the great insights those reports contain.

So here’s what we’ve been doing instead:
We start with a high-level overview, touching on the big-picture items. Then we send people back to read the full report themselves. After that, we schedule a deeper debrief to go over everything in more detail.

Why am I sharing this on a Fast Tip Friday?
Simple: read your reports.

There’s so much valuable information packed into these assessments. The more time you spend reviewing them, asking questions, relating the content to your own behavior, and talking with your teammates who’ve also done assessments—the better you’ll get at actually using these tools.

Whether it’s DISC, Driving Forces, EQ, or DNA—these tools help us become better humans. Better communicators. Better collaborators. They’re designed to help us work with others more easily, effectively, and intentionally.

And look, if you’ve done a DISC with us—or even with someone else—it’s still worth pulling that report back out. It’s not just about our process; it’s about using what you have. We know what we love, but if you’ve used a different tool and it works for you, awesome! Just keep using it.

So here’s your reminder on this Fast Tip Friday:
Dust off your assessment. Re-read it. Reflect on it.

If you need a copy of your report, reach out! Call me, email me—whatever your preferred style of communication is. We’re happy to help.

And if you’ve never done an assessment but you’re curious why we talk about them so much, reach out about that too. I’m always happy to explain the value and help you get started.

And hey—if you already have your report, it makes a great holiday gift to share with your partner. Learning more about your communication styles and driving forces together might just help you avoid some of those potholes, tough conversations, or misunderstandings down the line.

Let us help you grow in your communication, behavior, and relationships—both personally and professionally.

That’s your Fast Tip Friday. Go have a great weekend!
