Fast Tip Friday: Empowering Others for Success

Oct 31, 2025 8:42:30 AM

Hey everybody, Charlie Hauck here—Founder of Growth Dynamics, Lead Trainer, Creative Consultant, Executive Coach, Content Creator, Cheerleader… and one more thing I want to share that’s a bit personal: I’m a grandparent.

I’ve probably mentioned that in other Fast Tip Fridays, but I wanted to talk about it again because it’s been on my mind. My granddaughter, Hayden, has recently filmed a couple of our Midweek Motivations for Growth Dynamics. And honestly, that’s a pretty bold step for a seventh grader—especially one who’s never had to record anything that might be seen by more than just her friends on TikTok or Instagram… or wherever else kids are communicating these days.

But Hayden sat down right here in the very chair I’m sitting in now—and she really put in a good effort. She shared ideas from the mind of a seventh grader that actually make a lot of sense for those of us working in the professional world.

As a grandparent, that makes me stop and reflect on something bigger—on the legacy I want to leave behind. We all get a chance to impact the lives of the people around us. And I’m grateful every single day that my daughter, Sarah Waypel—Hayden’s mom—let me be a part of her journey. She trusted me. She took the lessons I taught her (some learned easily, some not so easily), and now she’s passing that knowledge and care down to her own children, Jackson and Hayden.

So here’s my reminder to you today:
Find a place in your life to give back.

If you don’t have kids or grandkids, that’s okay. Find some children, some younger people out in the world. Volunteer. Show up. Give your time to someone who would love to see the attention and focus of someone older, wiser, and willing to nurture their growth.

My mission in life—and my motto—is this:
The more you give, the more you get.

Look for every opportunity to give. Don’t worry about what you’ll get in return. Just keep giving—and the “getting” will take care of itself.

Find someone you can lead. You don’t need a title. You don’t need permission. It could be as simple as a moment—where you make a good decision in front of them, where you encourage someone to believe in themselves, where you show them they’re worth your time, attention, and care.

If you look for those moments, I think you’ll find not only will their life become richer—your life will become richer too.

At the end of the day, if we can leave behind a positive impact… if we can help even one person believe in themselves a little more… I believe that’s one of the greatest gifts we can give this world.

We’ve all received so much—more than we sometimes realize.
So give. And watch how powerfully the world gives back.

Take care.
