Fast Tip Friday: Power Words That Close Deals

Hey everybody. Sarah Waple here, President at Growth Dynamics, and I am here with this week's Fast Tip Friday.

This one comes from something we've been hearing and saying a lot as we've launched some new rotations of High Performance Sales, and that is: what are your power words?

In our High Performance Sales manual, TB9—for anyone watching that happens to have this out there—we have a whole list of power words and phrases. Some of our favorite ones that you should all know as Growth Dynamics fans are: Are you sure?, Let’s pretend, and Is there anything else?

Be sure to figure out what words and the delivery that work best for you to make sure you are asking your prospects, your clients, your kids, your parents:
Are they sure?
Is this deal ready to go?
Has this decision been made—or do we need to talk about anything else?

So we’re not surprised later on in the process.

If you can figure out what your favorite power words and phrases are that help you take things from maybe super serious to that area of "it’s not really real, so you can tell me what you want to think about or what you want to say and it won’t hurt you"—you need to do that today.
