Good Monday morning. This is Sarah Waple, partner at Growth Dynamics, and I am here with a very special holiday Monday Morning Manager. I know it's Thanksgiving week, and we are all supposed to sit around and figure out what we're thankful for. I am 100% encouraging you to do that.

We should take a look around and see just where are all of the things that are bringing us joy in our lives, what have we done over the last year that has helped us to feel fulfilled, thankful for the people we work with, thankful for the people in our lives, maybe even thankful for the people and the opportunities that you did not take and allow you to have more time for the things you love.

Along that same thing, instead of just saying, "Let's be thankful" and "give thanks" and do all the things, I think we should also start to take this time to plan what we hope to be thankful for next year. We all talk about end of the year - What are we wrapping up on? How are we getting prepared to end this year and get ready for next year? Then January rolls around after a busy holiday season for many of us and we start talking about goals, outlook, or you're forced to write down some new year's resolutions. 9 times out of 10, it's always lose 5-10 pounds, get back to the gym, eat better, all of the things that you should be able to do all the time without a New Year's resolution. How much time do you really put into those New Year's resolutions? So I want to challenge you on this Thanksgiving week to start thinking about what you want next year to look like, not just in terms of success.  When you sit around the table this time next year, and people ask you what you're thankful for, what do you want that to look like?

Start planning now! Start planning and putting your bird cages out. If you have no idea what I'm talking about on bird cages, give us a call reach out and we'd be happy to teach you about birdcages.

Start putting everything into the universe. I know not everyone is religious, I am not, but I strongly believe in karma, the universe, and putting things out there so that you can get things in return as long as you're helping to put good into the universe and help others with their goals.

Don't just think about what you're thankful for this year... start putting some real thought into what you want to be thankful for next year, and that's it. So without further ado, go out there and make this week the best week yet.
